You can meld and canasta anything you want but you must have Queens (Beauty) and 8s (The Beast) melded to the table in order to go out.
If you get a natural canasta in 8s, you have automatically won and stopped the last rose petal from dropping, causing the Beast to turn back into a Prince.
If you discard or continue playing you lose the auto win and must complete the game. No touching the pile!
