You can meld and canasta anything you want but you must have 8s (Dumbo's Ears) melded to the table, in order to go out. If you get a natural canasta in Queens, you have freed Dumbo from the circus and reunited him with his mother and receive an automatic win. If you discard or continue playing you lose the auto win and must complete the game. No touching the pile.
